Who are Vararoha fragrances for?Â
The curious. The thinkers. The quiet rebels. Vararoha fragrances defy gender conformities and age appropriateness. There’s a deliberate absence of constraints, such as olfactory groups or occasions to wear a scent. This empowers a person’s instincts to guide their Vararoha fragrance decision, rather than expectations.
Are Vararoha fragrances safe?Â
All Vararoha fragrances are phthalate and paraben free. We use no harmful preservatives, formaldehydes, colourants or dyes.
Are Vararoha fragrances all natural?Â
While there is an extensive use of natural ingredients in our perfumes, Vararoha does not believe that natural ingredients are inherently better (or safer) by virtue. To believe so undermines the validity of work of countless perfumers who compose ethically and responsibly using quality raw materials that are safe for consumption.Â
Vararoha perfumes are a blend of safe natural and synthetic materials - free from harsh chemicals - blended with utmost care to produce unique and high-quality olfactory experiences.
Where are Vararoha fragrances made?
Vararoha Perfumery is based in the Macedon Ranges region of Australia. All fragrances have been developed by Vararoha’s perfumer and founder using ethically sourced ingredients. Each fragrance is the result of experimentation, intention, and dedication to an ancient craft.
Shipping
Where do you ship from?
All Vararoha fragrances are shipped directly from our perfumery.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes, for all orders over $100 we offer free standard shipping.
For Australian orders under $100:
- Standard shipping: $10
- Express shipping: $15
Do you ship overseas?
Due to current regulations, we unfortunately do not ship overseas.
We are in the process of making arrangements to allow us to ship outside Australia. Sign-up for our newsletter and we will keep you posted.
When will my order be shipped?
Goods will be shipped within 24/48 hours, excluding holidays and weekends.
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an e-mail with tracking information.
Detailed below are our typical delivery estimates:
- Metro Melbourne & Sydney → 1–3 business days
- Everywhere else in Australia → 5–10 business days
- Express Shipping → 2–3 business days
- International Shipping → not available at present

Which payment methods are accepted?
We offer a selection of secure, flexible payment options to make your experience effortless. You can complete your purchase using Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, or any major credit or debit card including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.
If you prefer, Shop Pay also allows you to split your order into interest-free instalments, offering a little more ease and flexibility — all handled securely at checkout.
Orders
Do I receive free samples with my order?
Yes! As a thank you, every 50ml or 100ml order includes a complimentary 2ml sample of the same perfume. This will allow you to sample the perfume to ensure that it suits you. But wait ... there's more!
- With a 50ml order, you may also choose one free additional 2ml sample.
- With a 100ml order, you may also choose two free additional 2ml samples.
To select your samples, simply add a full-size bottle to your cart. In the Your Cart section, you’ll find a list of available samples to choose from.
If you forget to select them, don’t worry - we’ll include samples we think you’ll love, chosen to complement your purchase.
How do I know if my order has been received?
Once your order is placed, you’ll receive a confirmation email - a quiet signal that your chosen fragrance has begun its journey to you.
Can I change my order after it’s been placed?
If you need to make a change, contact us as soon as possible. Once your parcel is on its way, we can’t alter it — but you’re always welcome to begin anew with another order, a small act of fragrant rebellion.
Can I cancel my order?
Should you change your mind, let us know quickly and we’ll cancel it with care. If it has already shipped, you’ll still have the option to return it once it arrives — no journey is ever final.
What if my order arrives damaged or incomplete?
Every bottle is prepared with intention, but if something is amiss, reach out. We’ll set it right promptly — because craft and care don’t end at the atelier door.
How do I track my order?
As soon as your fragrance departs, you’ll receive an email with tracking details — so you can follow its quiet passage to your door.
My tracking number isn’t working - what should I do?
Sometimes tracking takes time to catch up with the journey. If it still won’t work, contact us and we’ll guide it home with you.
Refunds
What is your refunds policy?
We offer refunds and exchanges on online orders within 30 days of purchase.
All 50ml and 100ml orders of Vararoha fragrances will be shipped with a free 2ml sample spray of the same perfume. We suggest that you try the spray before you open the box to see if it suits you.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept a refund or exchange for a fragrance that has been opened. Learn more about Returns here.
Do I have to pay shipping for returned products?Â
Yes. Except in cases of damaged, incorrect or faulty goods, shipping costs for returned products need to be paid by the customer.Â
How long will it take for the refund to arrive?Â
Once we have approved a refund, the payment should arrive within 3-4 business days, but it is usually a lot faster than this.Â
